A web site that specialises in recordings of prerecorded prank phone calls has misappropriated a picture of a prominent orthodox rabbi, almost certainly without his permission as an illustration for a prank phone call titled “the horny rabbi”. There are tens of thousands of bearded non religious men, and even bearded non Jewish men who might give their consent to being the illustration for a prank phone call site. Instead,the picture of a rabbi who probably does not use the internet was used for the tasteless prank. The disrespect shown to a living person and the humiliation of using his picture in a manner that ridicules observant Jews should offend any fair minded person
Prankdial.com should immediately remove the picture of the prominent rabbi from their site.If Prankdial.com sees nothing wrong with their latest stunt, perhaps a lawyer should enlighten them. Perhaps they think tat it’s no big deal, that we all look alike anyhow.
