A Facebook Page calling for and seeking to facilitate a “Third Intifada” against Israel has been removed from Facebook, Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper has reported. The page, which had over 340,000 fans, called for a third intifada against Israel, with a focus on May 15 of this year. Among other things, the page noted “Judgment Day will be brought upon us only once the Muslims have killed all of the Jews,” .
The page sparked widespread outrage with its call for genocide and the destruction of an entire country. ADL Director Abe Foxman noted as follows.
“We should not be so naïve to believe that a campaign for a ‘Third Intifada’ does not portend renewed violence, especially in the current climate that has seen a dramatic increase in rocket attacks from Gaza, the brutal murder of the Fogel family in the West Bank, and a terrorist bombing in Jerusalem.”
The news of the Facebook page being shut down was also welcomed by Christians United For Israel, which noted as follows on their Facebook page.

Facebook has not yet issued a statement about the controversy, in which Facebook was being used to promote and facilitate actual genocide.Since further attempts by anti Israel groups to launch and advocate genocide through social media are likely, it would be wise and decent for Facebook to be proactive in combating such activities within its domain.
As can be seen from the video below, there are already new pages cropping up like poison mushrooms to replace the old Third Intifada page. What will Facebook do?
